Congratulation to Aumer for guessing Laura Dawn with an accuracy of .86! In case you guys didn’t know the average accuracy on the YJGM site is .39 (See the graph at the bottom of the Science page) and she more than doubled that. Not only does Aumer get Laura Dawn, but she was also was runner-up in several of our other celebrity contests: Dr. Z, Pennebaker, and SamDavidson. How does Aumer guess so well? She gave us some hints about how she does it, “I try to consider how a person sees him/herself. I may see them as an extravert, but they see themselves as an introvert. So when they take a personality test, they are going to answer those questions biased towards how they see themselves. And I try to consider that when I guess them.” She also likes to look at political affiliation and favorite quotations to get a better sense of the celebrities’ personalities. Well it certainly worked and she won a signed copy of Laura's book with Barack Obama.
